Our Mission
At Friends of Hamilton, we aim to make a difference in the lives of young people with Autism and Complex Learning Difficulties and Disabilities (CLDD) by providing opportunities, support, and education.
Our Goals
Enhancing Education – We support the education of individuals under 25 with Autism and CLDD, helping them develop their mental, physical, and moral abilities through leisure and learning activities.
Supporting Wellbeing – We promote and protect the physical and mental health of people with Autism and CLDD by offering practical advice, education, and support.
Raising Awareness – We work to increase public understanding of Autism and CLDD through education, research, and awareness campaigns.
Expanding Opportunities – We help individuals with Autism and CLDD access social, artistic, and physical training, including travel opportunities and career preparation.
Promoting Social Inclusion – We create opportunities for children with Autism and CLDD and their families who may feel excluded due to social or economic barriers. We offer play schemes, leisure activities, volunteering, training, and information to foster inclusion.
Through our work, we strive to empower young people, support families, and build a more inclusive community.
